Day 4 & 5

Day 4--- make someone a homemade dinner (chicken noodle soup)

Day 5-- give thanks to the teachers at his school

Someone thinks....

My currently youngest is always with me. He is attached to my hip 24/7. So it doesn't surprise me when he frequently plays with kitchen items but this time he wanted us to cook him for dinner.

Fun in Iowa

Iowa....who has fun in Iowa. Guess what WE DO!!

I have a rental car because a drunk driver hit my car. I drive a gas guzzling trailblazer so it's not often we go down to my Dads house because he lives 1.5 hour away. I know it's pathetic but I hate spending $50 plus dollars just to drive there. ;) Sooooo, we went down there the other weekend. Kids played with the goats, in the barn, grilled burgers, and visited. It was very nice!

Doritos Taco Casserole

Big thing at Taco Bell is currently their Doritos taco shells and bags of Doritos. I don't know how to make Doritos into a taco shell (lol) so I provided.

Ingredients:
1lb ground beef (90-10)
1 bag of Doritos
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of diced tomatoes
8 oz of sour cream
2 cups Shredded cheese (Mexican or taco flavor)
1 taco seasoning packet
1 Pilsbury crescent rolls

Directions:

**preheat oven to 350**

1. Brown ground beef.
2. Add taco seasoning (just the seasoning), tomato sauce, and diced tomato to ground beef and let simmer.
3. On 13x9 baking pan put down the Pilsbury crescent roll. Make sure you pinch seams together.
4. Add meat on top of crescent roll.
5. Next add sour cream. This will not spread easily but till will spread so no big worries.
6. Place shredded cheese next.
7. Last top with crushed Doritos.
8. Bake for 30 minutes then eat.
